The ability of informal continuous education and training is important for today’s professionals.Knowledge is
outdated fast, so a professional has to continually update his/her experiences and knowledge profile, if they want to
be competitive.In this paper we are interested in studying continuous education and training, in relation to Virtual
Learning Communities(VLCs). The actual point varies from person to person . It is not casual learning, because it
aims at a goal; and the goal has to do with the common interest of the VLC members. A user participates in a VLC
which deals with his/her interest(s), either for professional reasons or as a hobby
