چکیده (انگلیسی):

The pace of changes in the world is an ever-increasing one, leading to great
demands in the synchronization of the two wings of education and technology, and
resulting in great changes in the pace of success in the industries. With the
emergence of the knowledge-based organization, the bridging the gap between
education in universities and the practices in industries should be reformulated to
plugging the gap. To do so, there emerges the need for a common language for
enhancing the consistency level of the communication in industry. Here, the authors
in the present paper propose Safetyas the common language in aviation context of
Iran as the prerequisite to reinforce the safety factor in aviation organization.
Through institutionalizing English for Safety Purposes instead of English for
Specific Purposes (ESP), the safety level within aviation field is enhanced. In the
long run, there are static pitfalls and potential dynamic opportunities elaborated.
