چکیده (انگلیسی):
Communication is an important part of our daily life, due to the need of transmitted different data such as voice, images and videos. Due this increasing in data communications it demands for large transmission capacity. To resolve these needs with a better signal and larger communication distant (in compare with copper, fiber optic networks can operate at speeds up to 10 gigabits per second or higher, as opposed to 154 megabits per second for copper), light wave technology was developed. An optical or light wave communication system is a system that uses light waves as the carrier for transmission. An optical communication system mainly involves three parts. Transmitter, receiver and channel. In optical communication transmitters are light sources, receivers are light detectors and the channels are optical fibers. Transmitter converts the electrical signal to light. The receivers will coverts the light back to the voice or music signal to the output. This work has been done using simulation optisystem.
