چکیده (انگلیسی):

This researcher reported on a three-week visit to Spain in 2008, for initial views of what was occurring in
Spain in the area of bilingual/dual language programs. At the time of the original report, Spain wasinitiating a
strong push for English in the schools, as required by the European Union because of Spain's reluctance to
implement English. This report is a follow-up study for more in-depth observations conducted in 2014 over
a three week visit, too. Instead of looking only at the language program at each school, in this report, the
researcher expands on observations to look at the general and specific comparisons noted between Spain
public schools and those in the United States of America.
