چکیده (انگلیسی):

This article presents a reading of the consciousness of belonging to the homeland through a discussion of the horrors of
the Civil War in Nigeria in the discussion of Buchi Emecheta’s Destination Biafra (1982). I argue here that the author
who has been living in London as a migrant for so long has managed to introduce the western audience to the history of
the Nigerian Biafra - one that triggers the mind to rethink confluences of answerability to the idyllic but lost biafra in
the lands due to the staged scenario of the postcolonial in many countries in the 21th century.
